Agona Asafo Village

Over the past 15 years, the owners of Bella have traveled extensively across the continent of Africa experiencing its amazing beauty, culture, and people, while also forging meaningful partnerships. With a population of more than 60,000 people, the Agona Asafo Village is located in the Central Region of Ghana. The main occupation here is farming. The main farming products are grains, cocoa, and vegetables. The youth have organized themselves into seven vegetable-growing groups and they work tirelessly to support the village. Whereas heavy emphasis is placed on agriculture production, this impoverished community is also in need of ongoing financial support and resources to better serve the community in the areas of health and education. We, Bella, believe in the biblical text outlined in Matthew 25: 31-46 that refers to the "least of these."
